Our residence in the heart of Meursault village

It took us two years of research to find this very old, stone-built and completely abandoned residence. It lies 500 metres from the town hall on the road to Puligny-Montrachet. We fell in love with its rear facade dating back to the Middle Ages, its spacious rooms that had to be entirely refurbished from the floor to the ceiling, and its rooftops. There was also the key attraction: the cellar that can hold up to 15 wine casks, which should be plenty even for particularly “thirsty” residents. All the conditions were in place for us to make our dream come true: to share, with as many people as possible, our passion for Burgundy, its old stone buildings steeped in history, its great wines and its gastronomic delights.

The outdoor relaxation area

It is surrounded by typical Burgundy stone walls, allowing you to unwind in an area devoted to the good life.

It is an ideal place to read or simply to sleep, catch sun rays or sip a nice red or white wine…

Our swimming pool, heated to 28°, treated with salt by electrolysis,
is open from 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and
from April 15th to September 15th.

Le Charles V - L'espace détente

The snooker room

The main room of Le Charles V is where we host you and usually features a 12-foot snooker table. This is the perfect place to discover the exceptional range of spirits available from Le Clos St Joseph, peruse a book or play some of the board games that we provide for your leisure.

In order to respect the social distancing imposed by the Covid 19 epidemic, we have set up tables for 2 people in the snooker room, at least 2.5 m apart.
